Hearing the Voice of Jesus

Please read this nice and slow. Ponder and pray. Some are not going to agree, that is okay, a man can receive nothing unless God gives it from heaven.  The following definition is from the Strong’s concordance. Look at this: Jesus the WORD is an expression of a thought in your mind by the Spirit, IT IS NOT YOUR BIBLE though the inspired writings of the bible confirm the WORD (JESUS) through the SPIRIT.. Does the  HOLY SPIRIT to speak to your SPIRIT man?

 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 The word is not the bible, it is the living Jesus. WAIT! don’t stop, hear me out.

3056 lógos (from 3004 /légō, “speaking to a conclusion”) – a word, being the expression of a thought; a saying. 3056 /lógos (“word”) is preeminently used of Christ (Jn 1:1), expressing the thoughts of the Father through the Spirit.

 

Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Spirit= mind, mental disposition, spirit, ghost,breath

 

From pneo; a current of air, i.e. Breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy Spirit — ghost, life, spirit(-ual, -ually), mind. Compare psuche.

 

John 7:39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive…..

 

VERY INTERESTING! Do you know Jesus or your bible? The bible testifies of Jesus but it is not His Holy Spirit that you commune with. His Holy Spirit abides IN YOU and you abide in HIM.  The scriptures leads you to Jesus. There is a BIG difference in knowing about Jesus through reading about him in the bible and having a personal relationship with him through the Holy Spirit. Hearing him and receiving revelation in your spirit man. Sometimes it is audible, sometimes in your thinking, sometimes it is a knowing, that you just know he is speaking to you. Sometimes it is a rehma or the logos scripture.  It is more than head knowledge of learning scripture. It is hearing.

 Many people think because the read the bible that are okay and heaven bound but the fruit that many produce is still of the flesh. Gal ch 5 NO FLESH WILL glory in his presence. Gal 5:18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. If you walk in the flesh you ARE under the law, being judged…WHEN you walk by the SPIRIT you listen to his voice and follow him and are in his presence. His grace empowers us to do this by faith. Bible reading is not assurance of a regenerated Spirit walking in the Spirit. The scriptures testify of Jesus they are NOT Jesus, they teach us about Jesus. We worship him in Spirit by revelation of the Holy Spirit. John 3:27 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you–unless, of course, you fail the test? 2Cor 13:5

A lesson in authority

I had a great walk today. Everything was going good and on the way back from a distance I seen something laying in the road. My walk is down a dirt road. As I got closer I seen it was a big dog from the mobile home we were coming upon. We is me and MIA my great white Pyrenees. She is big but a big chicken.. As we got closer to the dog, it got up and went to the edge of it’s yard. I was thinking, the dog looks meek and it will be okay.

I kept eye contact with the dog as we passed. As soon as my back was turned and eye contact broken that dog charged and was going after MIA…I turned around, pointed my finger at that dog and commanded STOP, don’t you do it.

That dog stopped in it’s tracks, turned and went back to it’s yard. I said shoooweee that was close, then I heard the HOLY SPIRIT say to me, that is how you use your authority and take dominion over every situation. COMMAND the storms to STOP. Walk in the authority.. After all We were walking. and when the dog charged, I stepped into authority and commanded it to STOP.. EVERY ENEMY must obey the AMBASSADORS of God just as they would bow to JESUS. He gave us ALL POWER and AUTHORITY. We must learn to use it and this is why we have trials and tribulation. To learn to walk as JESUS walked.

Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. …
though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered. Hebrews 5:8
